Burns Night at the PDC, January 25, 2025

On Saturday, January 25, the Present Day Club in Princeton, held a Burns Night in celebration of the Scottish Poet, Robert Burns. Candace is a member, so we attended. There were cocktails, dinner, the parade and consumption of the haggis, and dancing.


Not really sure how to describe haggis. Wikipedia says it’s sheep’s heart liver and lungs with chopped onion, oatmeal, suet, spices and salt. It’s supposed to be cooked encased in the sheep’s stomach, but II doubt this one was.
