Tapestries at the Met, April 3, 2025
On April 3, the Metropolitan Museum of Art had an event for its members: “82nd and Fifth: Cultural Crossroads.” The building at 82nd and Fifth was closed to the general public so the Met could throw a party for its members (of course, the members had to buy tickets). Candace is a member and bought tickets for us. One could wander around the galleries and enjoy light drinks and snacks. The Met is so huge, one can never see it all! We stumbled across a room with tapestries. Candace has is interested in tapestries, so I shot the photos below. I believe there are two sets of tapestries, but I’ve lost track of which tapestry belongs to which set.
